How deletion works

Scopes

A single file: removed from storage within a minute.
A post: its metrics, tags, and files are removed; any finding built on it is marked stale rather than silently recomputed.
The workspace: everything is removed, then we verify nothing remains before confirming, and you keep a receipt on your account page.

Honesty about backups

Deletion removes your data from the live system immediately. Infrastructure backup copies expire on their own schedule rather than instantly; your receipt reflects this rather than overstating it. Deletion receipts and a minimal security audit trail, containing no content, are retained for a limited period.

Abandoned imports

An import you never confirm is removed automatically 24 hours after you stop working on it.
