Connect an account
Connecting is optional. Everything in the first group already works without it. Connecting read permission just stops you typing numbers by hand.
Read permission
Lets us read your own posts and their insights so you stop entering them by hand. It cannot change anything on your account.
Connecting is not available in this install yet. Every capability that needs no connection still works.
Google Ads, read only
Read-only reporting for a Google Ads account: campaigns, spend, clicks, and results. It can never change, pause, or bid on anything, and the grant is revocable at any time from your Google account's permissions page.
Connecting Google Ads is not available in this install yet.
Meta ads, read only
Read-only reporting for a Facebook or Instagram ad account. This is a separate permission from your Instagram posts connection, granted and revoked on its own.
Connecting Meta ads is not available in this install yet.
Write permission
Lets us publish a post you wrote, at a time you chose. Granted separately from read, revocable at any time, and never used automatically.
Scheduling and publishing are planned and not built yet. When they arrive you will grant write permission separately from read, and nothing will ever post without you writing it and choosing to send it.
What we never ask for, at any level
- Read or send your direct messages
- Follow, unfollow, like, or comment on your behalf
- Post anything without you writing it and choosing to send it
- Collect data about other creators' private accounts
- Sell, license, or share your data
